About Mahindra Research Valley
The Mahindra Research Valley (MRV) has been designed by Padma Vibhushan, Shri Charles Correa. MRV is built on an area of 125 acres at Mahindra World City, Chennai. A World Class infrastructure and an Innovative culture, are the mantras of MRV. MRV bears testimony to the Mahindra Group’s commitment, to technology-driven innovation. The facility houses engineering research and product development wings for automobiles and tractors, all under one roof. The state-of-the-art Mahindra Research Valley (MRV) facility, was inaugurated by His Excellency, Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam, Honourable Former President of India. XUV500, the first product designed and developed at MRV, is a winner product of 25 awards till date. The R&D centre has several facilities including a world class Engine Development Centre (EDC), NVH lab, Fatigue Test Lab, alternate fuels, passenger safety and polymer technology labs, Crash & Safety Lab etc ; to name a few.
